Behind The Scenes

When the world shifted during the pandemic and her work had to be done virtually, Suvi discovered a creative opportunity. She realized she could serve busy entrepreneurs more efficiently. These were individuals who needed video content but were unsure of where to start and required a quick turnaround. That’s when Suvi Media was created.

In Suvi’s experience, the pandemic proved that you can still create rich and meaningful video content without the big hassle of production fees, a camera crew, expensive equipment, renting a studio, and waiting months for organized footage. Virtual production gets the job done faster with more impactful results. People in any location can easily access an online meeting platform, increasing the likelihood of your clients happily participating in a video testimonial.

Before virtual production, Suvi recalls the extra time it took to arrange testimonial video shoots with clients and the challenge of helping them get comfortable in front of the camera and under studio lights.

While Suvi has mastered the art of drawing out the best from her interviewees on video—capturing genuine content is her forte—she’s finding that the shift to virtual video production during the pandemic has its perks. “Everyone’s gotten used to sharing their thoughts in front of a camera. We get to the heart of the interview so much quicker now, and it’s just pure fun!’’ says Suvi.

In her work, Suvi has experienced higher and more engaged participation in video production now that people can take part from the comfort of their homes and can be super flexible with scheduling.

My clients are making themselves readily available to our video projects. They’re carving out time from their busy schedules, and even their vacations, to record a video testimonial with me. They’re relaxed, in good spirits, and eager to participate because the process adapts to their lifestyles–leading to a more personalized and enjoyable experience.

Suvi’s expertise extends beyond just recording footage using web-based video conferencing. She skillfully researches and combines a variety of elements, such as b-roll, news clips, social media, images, music, and graphic treatments, to make each video impactful and captivating. When Suvi was 11 years old, she painted a replica of Picasso’s portrait of Dora Maar. Suvi went on to major in Visual Arts which she later complemented with studies in journalism and advertising.

“I don’t paint as often anymore, but I think that energy has now transformed into video editing; it’s like creating multimedia art. I love the creative process of piecing together video clips to make masterpieces.”
